Knocking From The 'boot'?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have an irritating noise coming from the boot (I think) I have looked at the obvious places - like boot shelf, spare wheel etc... But still there! I can't be sure it not coming from outside but then I'm not sufficiently well versed to know anyway :)

all help gratefully recieved!

push and pull on the outside of the boot its probably needing the catch adjusted or its the plastic screws loose that hold the bottom of the rear bumper or the wheel jack isnt in right or its osama bin laden no wonder they cant find him tell tale signs are the edge of a towel sticking ever so slightly out the boot

Could be the heat shield from the exhaust underneath. Might be loose and banging on the underside of the boot.

Think I've found it - one if the latches on the drivers side rear seat must be loose. After dropping the rear seat it's gone!

Happy days!

Thanks for all the (constructive) help!

Glad it's sorted. It's nice when that happens with no extra cost!
