time for your help

Ok guys and gals, it time for me to put a question to you, i have been asked by a driver of a Focus 1.8 tdci Lynx diesel 52 plate which he says will cut out when driving and then will not re-start and the glow plug light will flash when trying to start. i have looked at this twice before with no DTC present and not able to reproduce fault.

Any of you come across this before?

Thanks

Is your man sure it is the glow plug light flashing and not the engine management light? Ask for symptoms. Does he get a warning of it cutting out or does it just die? When WILL it restart if not straight away?

Sorry just realised this is 2 years old.

How or was it cured?
