LincsGuy
Hi Guys I have a focus S mk2 and bought it last september it came with Large chequered flag style Stickers on either side of the car. I have never liked them. Any way recently bought a pressure washer and used it for the first time other day and took some sticker off so I decided to get rid off all the stickers then today using plastic bank card and WD40 and a hair dryer got rid of all the little bits and tomorrow I am going to attempt to remove the left over residue and t-cut it. I was wondering if anyone as any tips or suggestions for a quicker / easier way of doing it. Thanks
WES180
I've always found WD40 on a cloth to be the best for removing the glue residue.

Back in the days of living with mum and dad I use to really look after my cars and always had Autoglym products as they were considered one of the best on the market at the time. That was long before detailing took off like it has. Maybe I will get back into my cars now that I'm stopping renovating houses every few years as I will need a hobby. I use to love driving round in a gleaming car and rolling past a big shop window admiring the cars reflection.

Luke4efc
De-solv-it sticky stuff remover. About £5 from Halfords and has worked great when debadging cars (basically same thing. Both removing glue that's been stuck on for 10 years). Alternatively use auto finesse obliTARate, which works as both glue and tar remover so you'll definitely use all the bottle at some point. Bit more expensive at £9, but also available at Halfords. Personally never tried it as a glue remover, but Halfords have only just started selling it so will probably become my tar remover choice for a while. zain611
If there is any imprints left on the paint could machine polish it out or probably polish it out by hand.
