Sync 3 Maps

Featured Replies

On the Ford Sync 3 website it gives you an option of creating an HERE map account, I have done so on my phone and it seems a very good satnav with good maps and many option.

The only thing is my sync 3 system refuses to recognise it, am I doing somthing wrong or is not meant to be used on sync 3.

Thanks

As far as I was aware, the inbuilt Ford Sync3 SatNav uses HERE maps for its map data, and the only reason to create a HERE maps account online is so you can report map error issues, etc.

I dont think you can actually use your phone to link with the inbuilt system.

However, you can use the Ford Pass App on your phone to get traffic updates, which does show on the inbuilt SatNav system.
