1.6 EcoBoost - Engine Service Now Error

Featured Replies

Can anyone shed any light on this error, when i access hidden menu there are no DTCs

I was driving and just noticed a loss of power, but it doesn't feel like limp mode more like just overboost isn't working

Car is 2012 Focus but has the Fiesta ST engine thats why i put here

The only modification is a K&N air filter

Thanks for any help folks

Hidden menu is a waste of time. You need to plug in with an obd2 scanner. Preferably a modified Elm327 and Forscan as it will give you the best chance of pulling a specific code.

Also aftermarket "performance" air filters dont help. They can confuse the map sensor and throw up EML lights (basically what you have). I'd put the original back in and see if the fault goes away first.
