when i press to water my rear windscreen no water comes out and the spray noise sounds like it's coming from over the passenger door? is there a connector there for the hose?

Yes, runs from passenger side of the engine bay up into the roof above the passenger door and yes there is a join in that area somewhere I just can't quite remember, just find the hose and follow it, if your not sure on the type of hose just look at the one heading to the bonnet that will give you an idea and trace that back

I have this in my car, although it sounds like its coming out on the driver side into the interior.  I've had the car at Ford about it but they say theres no issue or signs of leaks into the interior.  I think it's just pretty noisy.
