new back box loud?

Featured Replies

bought a 3 door 2011 fiesta, they changed the back box before i bought it as it was gone but now its ridiculously loud. it was fine on test drive before they changed it?

Did they fit a standard box or performance one?

If it's a standard box they might not have sealed the joint properly

with engine running hold large screwed up rag over end of exhaust and see if it leaks somewhere else, easier if you have one person holding rag and another looking for leak.

Sounds like they didn't seal the joint with exhaust paste or tightened the clamp properly
