Rear Light Cluster

Featured Replies

I'm a bit of a lurker on here, reading everything but not saying too much... But I was just wondering about the rear light cluster.

In fiesta_zetec-x's sig there are 2 white bits:

Whereas on pretty much all other sigs/images I've seen, there is only 1 white section per cluster. E.g. Stevie J's sig...

Why is this? I quite like the look of the 2 white bits...

Taking a whild guess here....

Could it be that the rear lights were on when the first photo was taken and due to the brightness, its ended up looking white(ish)?

My Titanium's got one white bit - the reversing light & the indicator (which, like the front, has an orange bulb) are side by side in the same horizontal strip.

Yeah that's what I thought, Andy. So why has the black one got 2 white bits? Strange...

at a guess I would say that one of the lamps is of a lhd version as they normally have the reverse light on the opposite side so if you wished to have the 2 white sections you would have to purchase one LHD lamp.

Mk7's have a reversing light on both sides - so the rear lights are the same on LHD and RHD cars.

I would say it's just a reflection.
