2015 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi P0251

Featured Replies

My 2015 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi had a spell of hunting at idle, and sometimes cutting out. On the motorway yesterday it lost power in the outside lane, I pulled over to the hard shoulder and it was running on two cylinders (Or sounded like it). I switched it off, and it started back up and drove home perfectly. I plugged Forscan into it and it gave P0251 metering control malfunction. Has anybody experienced this? Thankyou for reading.

Does it sound anything like this?

This maybe helps a little more?
