MK3 Focus Sync/Bluetooth Track/Artitst Not Displaying

Hello! I've just bought a 2012 Focus ST Estate. I've paired my phone via bluetooth (iPhone XS Max if that matters) and I can play and pause music, but I can't see the Track/Artist and I can't skip forward or backwards.

I've tried to reset to defaults, master reset, I even pulled out the fuse and put it back in again, still no change. I've tried it with another iPhone and an Android Phone, same thing.

I had a 2015 Fiesta Zetec S before and that displayed tracks and artists just fine.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    It is probably that the version of Sync you have in the Focus is an earlier version which doesn't support the track display through BT (most likely Sync 1.0).
    The version you had in the Fiesta would have been a newer version (Sync 1.1).

    i have a 62 plate titanium x estate  when i play cd s some display title etc some just say track 6 etc. same on bluetooth connection. some display some dont  assume its nothi g to do with sync. more to do with whether cd or track being played has it built in somehow
