Hi Guys

Anyone own or know much about the 1.5 tdci version of the st line in terms of reliability etc?

I’ve got the 1.5 tdci ST Line X, fully loaded. Only done 2000 in it so far but touch wood all is good. It’s very nippy and corners beautifully. Love the sports suspension but chose 17 inch wheels for a bit of ride comfort. Love mine.

i have 2015 1.5tdci 95bhp in mk7.5 fiesta. Done 52k miles. No problems at all. I don't recall seeing anything bad about the reliability of these engines on the fiesta or focus forums. I suspect that yours would be higher power than 95bhp. On the fiesta mk7.5 the only 2 offered were 75bhp and 95bhp

I take it that issue only applies to the tdci model?

Yep and any other diesel. Petrol Models built from around mid 2018 onwards so have the GPF but due a couple of reasons, this isn’t thought to be a cause of concern for lower mileage drivers. More reasons and a few issues with GPFs are discussed on a thread in the Focus forum but as far as i’m aware there haven’t been many issues with it on the Fiesta.
