focus mk2 rear bumper removal

hi guys was wondering how difficult it is to remove the rear bumper as i need to fit a towbar. many thanks

    Easy enough with the common hand tools. Few of those crappy plastic trim clips, couple nuts and bolts around the wheel arch etc.

    Just make sure you give the nuts in the wheel arch a good spraying with penetrating oil before undoing them.

    The bolts they thread onto are only mounted into plastic (part of the bumper mounting brackets) and if you rip the bolts through then it means new brackets which are a pain to replace as they are riveted to the bumper itself.
