A day adding bits to the fez

Featured Replies

Spent  most of the day adding bits to the car today.

ST wheels, steering wheel. Ford short ariel and the bluefin.

What took the time was trying to get the airbag off......two and a half hours !!!  The rest was a doddle. Strange thing was i took it off again to replace the screws that hold the cruise control and phone swithches and did it in 5 mins. In the beginning the bag would release partially but not fully but somehow i got there in the end. If i never have to take the thing off again then i will die a happy man, it is as others have said, a pig of a job.

Havent had a chance to give it a squirt with the bluefin yet but all in all i am pleased with the bits that are on there.

Tomorrow i will have a go at a nice twin tip i got but i think im gonna need a custom adapter made for that.

Edit:   Exhaust tip on....without any adapter. Well pleased.

Looks nice mate the airbag was horrible to take off. It took a long time not 2 and a half hours thankfully to retrofit the cruise control on mine
