Mk7.5 Grille Removal

Been out the back trying to do the same thing. I know from posts on here that they are a problem as they are held in by clips that snap. The general consensus is to get a firm grip and pull it....the grill that is.  Work your way around the grill until it releases, hopefully with no broken clips.

For mine, I had to unscrew the number plate (As it slightly overlaps) and yeah, one hard pull will start to remove the clips. It's a horrible feeling but gotta trust it. Some of these clips did snap off (As they're thin as) but most held in tact.

I replaced mine because it was cracked so had a bit more leverage to prise it out and it was still a massive ball ache !

I'd just look to replace the bolt as it will be far far easier
