Aerial mast

Featured Replies

I’ve got a problem with a cat or fox jumping on my car at night and chewing the rubber aerial mast, I’ve just ordered my second new one in six months. If I could catch it I’d pull it’s teeth out, but failing that, I’m looking for suggestions to stop it happening. I don’t want to keep unscrewing every night and thought putting a plastic tube over it, any other ideas

Give it a smearing of grease , may be the cat might not like that.

Or marmite? Cat could either love it or hate it.

Smear/spread citrus juice/cleaner on the aerial. Cats don't like oranges etc 😉

Cats hate citrus, use a little lemon juice. Keep it off the paint work though.

You can either rub it on neat or mix a good amount in a very small quantity of Vaseline or similar and smear it on
