Sorry to be a bit thick...does the six speed gearbox on the new fiesta use a linkage in the gear change, or does it use another method, maybe something more direct?

    next question, could this explain the abysmal gearchange especially first to second, and is there any adjustments?

    No adjustment on the 1st to 2nd. Only adjustment on the gate across the gears. If you feel you have an issue , contact your dealer.

    Been twice to the dealer, even had the guy from the service desk drive it. they couldn’t offer a solution, really don’t know what to do next

    Yes bob, thought about that, I’ve had it new from Oct 17, so I might be a bit late, it was superb btw when we bought it, it’s just developed just before Christmas
