Thinking about it, it is right I think... The lower spec have black headlight surrounds if I remember correctly?

I thought it the Zetec and higher has a chrome headlight surround (as opposed to the black).

Yup. The Titanium, Zetec and Zetec S come with chrome headlights. Looks much more flashy than the black basic ones. Been this way since the first MK7 was related. And I myself love the chrome detailing on the Zetec and Titanium, looks very classy :)

It hasnt been like that from the start.

Most ZS's from 09 had black bezels and window trim.

I cant stand the chrome looks like they have taken the advice of halfords on what looks good

I'm fairly sure it just means chrome trim within the headlight unit itself, which is black on the studio + edge/style, whereas its chrome on the zetec, ZS and titanium. I agree that it's been like this since the mk7 came out.

ahhhh yes they headlights are chrome. i completely misread it thinking they have changed the fog light bezel

I'm pretty sure that the ZS fog bezel is now chrome too?

has a ZS for sale and says "chrome belt line" and "chrome grill" ?

the chrome ones are projector headlights the black ones arnt.
