I have a 1988 Ford Fiesta Pop Plus that I no longer run as I have just bought another car. It has been serviced annually and was still used as a run around until last week. It is a bit rusty and has 95k miles on the clock. Should I just scrap it, or is it interesting enough for a Ford enthusiast to buy it?

Depends on the amount of rust but if it isn’t too much, it could appeal to someone out there. Worth throwing it onto the market and seeing if there’s any response. If a bit of time passes and nobody is interested, i’d scrap it then.

partly depends how long MOT is. put on gumtree and see what happens. When you say 'scrap' do you mean phone someone and get them to take away? you'd get more scrapping it if there is somewhere local you can drive it to.  Recently my brother took a KA to a local scrap metal place and got £70 for the weight of it plus £20 for the catalytic converter which was still on it.  I know these prices vary around the country.       Actually just realised 1988 is a Mk2 isn't it. They definitely do sell, although Pop plus is a bit basic. Look at mk2 fiestas on ebay
