RPM holding when pressing the clutch

Featured Replies

The RPM are holding for about 5 seconds when pressing the clutch.

When driving and I get my car up to 3000 revs, I press the clutch to change gear the revs drops about 1000 and stays there for about 5 seconds then continues to drop to idle revs (about 800 I think). Is this normal?

I had my service and MOT yesterday and it didn't do this before. When I used to press the clutch the revs used to drop to about 800 RPM straight away.

I mainly sticks at about 2500 RPM ( that's when my turbo kicks in) if that has anything to do with it? I also think the bite is a lot higher now.

When my foot rests lightly on the clutch, getting ready to press it. My car revs go up I know this is because I'm pressing the accelerator but im sure my clutch pedal wasn't that sensitive before.

Have the garage fixed my car because it was broke before or have they broke my car now?

Does anyone elses hold the revs?
