Fuel range display

Featured Replies

Hi

Car 2015 Fiesta Ecoboost

My fuel range display has been messing up it will say I have no petrol in the car and then when I turn it off and back on will say I have around 40 miles.

other times it will say I havnt burned through fuel only for me to use it next time and say I have 0 miles

Could it be the sensor on its way

Same thing on my 1.4 petrol...

Check the fuel pump located under the rear seats.  There is a "float" level sensor that may be sticking or sending a false read out.
