Illuminated Sill plate lights not working

Hi Guys, i have a 2011 Zetec S that had the Fiesta Orange Illuminated Sill plates fitted from factory, the Leds now do not work and was wondering if it was possible/any way to get these working or replace them?  or would it be replace the whole sill plates?  Has anyone had any experience with this

Any advice much appreciated

    There's a good chance that there is batteries in them, see if you can separate them to see.

    Looking at this one on Ebay it has a wire running from it so are yours connected to a fuse in the fuse box or has a connection worked loose?

    Thanks for the replies, the passenger side has one led still lit so i guess connections would be ok, drivers side has none lit.  Any ideas how these are secured down or come apart?  also where would that cable run too? the cable in the pic does not seem long enough to get to the fuse box?
