Hi I've tried searching the forum for some ideas but drawn a blank, I've got a 2015 1.5 tdci with 60k on the clock and returns about 60mpg with a mixture of short and long journeys. I've got a lot of black smoke being generated when static revving at idle and also when changing gear under light throttle (Can see the smoke in the rear view mirror even during the day) There are no fault codes and has just passed an MOT emmisions test with no issues. It was serviced by myself at 56k with new oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and coolant.

Any ideas on what could be the issue will be greatly appreciated.
