Hi All new to this forum!

 

I need some advice really of anyone who has experienced similar. I have a 9000 mileage Ford Fiesta 1,0 eco boost (2015 ). I use the recommend tyre pressures of FRONT 33 BACK 26

But it just does not feel right! feels very light and doesn't handle great

Has anyone found the correct pressures for a firmer ride?

    You're not going to significantly affect the ride changing tyre pressures.

    The pressures are set for providing an optimum contact patch and evenly wearing the tyre.

    If you want a firmer ride, that would be more of a suspension consideration, or possibly bigger wheels with lower profile tyres, but it's primarily the suspension that effects the ride.

    Also depends what tyres you have on - budget tyres aren't as stable as premium ones but even premium brands differ.

    You also need to show what size wheels and tyres you have fitted - lower profile tyres handle better than taller profiles, wider handle better than narrow, etc

    They are   195/55-R15  85H  continental

    Contis are a good brand, you could improve the handling slightly by switching to 205/50/15 tyres  - slightly wider and lower profile
