Hi all,

My girlfriend just bought a 2013 Fiesta ST and it has the standard Ford stereo.  DAB and bluetooth.

I bought a Sony facia from a 2016 ST2: c1bt - 18k811 - sa37ae

Will I be able to swap them over or will I need a different loom / connector and / or screen?

It should fit and (I think) work with the original screen. its not too hard to replace either.

Can you please let me know how you get on? I’m interested in this on my 2014 Zetec, have the Bluetooth/DAB as well at the moment. Thank you.

Seems a little pointless tbh. There's a negligible difference in sound quality (you probably dont even have high enough quality audio files to benefit anyway).

I personally dont like the look of the Sony unit. The buttons are too small and just isnt laid out as nicely as the Ford unit.

That being said, the fascia shares the same connector, and is a straight swap. It's a 10 minute job to change really. Hardest part is lifting up the piece of plastic surrounding the screen (those clips are hard to pull out if it's never been done before).

I just realised all I bought was the sony facia.  Not the actual back head unit silver box.

Will it still work OK?  Will the screen function OK?
