So who on here's a regular and who does the shows and events?

 

Dont do shows or events but on here most days.

I guess I'm probably classed as a regular poster... 🙄

Don't do any Ford shows though, they're all too far away.

 

I'm on here almost daily and do reply to posts sometimes. 
I'm not one for doing shows though.

Daily here and go to shows when I can been Ford Fair for the past 3 years and going again this year, just waiting for numbers from my end

Cool job, wish I done something more interesting. Im just a mechanic. I Usually turned up at events at the old forum to fix everyone's crap after it had been on track so we could all get home. [emoji23]

As you're a handler does that make you not a policeman officer? Or are you one as well as? Always wondered this.

I'm a fully fledged Police Sergeant but I specialise in deployment of dogs for various taskings.
I have a search dog for drugs, money and explosives / firearms and two others for crowd control, tracking and detaining of suspects (one due to retire in a couple of months and the other is a relatively new dog that's still to finish training & evaluation before being fully licenced).

Certainly not all coffee and doughnuts but there's always something satisfying every day.
I'm lucky that my dogs come home with me so it's like working with my best friends.
It's deeply rewarding but also sometimes frustrating too.

I haven't had the honour of being on TV, don't think the cameras can take the strain [emoji57]
Been in local papers a couple of times but the photos were so grainy and far away that even I have trouble picking myself out.
I tend to shun the limelight tbh, don't need every scrot in the south west knowing who I am and tracking me home.
Strangely enough I was in a news story printed in Italy a few years back concerning a missing tourist I tracked on dartmoor after he got lost and injured in bad weather but they used a stock photo from somewhere that was nowt like me at all [emoji21].

Since I bought my Fiesta ST 7 months ago anyway. I've owned two other Ford's previously too but didn't join FOC until last year.

I was going to go along to Pure Ford at Castle Combe but we had other things on and the weather wasn't great. No plans to do any other Ford events this year...
