Fiesta 2006 bonnet won't close

Featured Replies

Hi ,

Recently I bought a Ford Fiesta 2006 with bonnet which I can't close , I tried with grease , WD 40 but nothing change . I saw there is a plastic part which is missing .

I don't want to replace all mechanism just for a small plastic , I tested with a screwdriver and it's work but without that plastic striker don't push enough to close .

It's possible to find that part ?

"striker" sorry , I used a lot of WD 40 , mechanical part is working I tried with a screwdriver and I dissmounted the striker to push mechanical part with my hand but when I put it back and I tried to close the bonnet doesn't work , don't push enough to activate the mechanical part for locking .

Somebody can give some idea ?
