Ambient lighting in a zetec

Featured Replies

Another probably daft question (I have searched!)

I have a red strip above the dash, haven’t noticed any other lighting. Should there be any in the cup holders? Anywhere else I should have it?

Seem inconclusive looking at google too.

Thank you all again, still finding my way round the car.

2014 Zetec...

Zetec, it should only be that strip.

If it was a Titanium, the cup holders would have a wee red glow also.

You might want to check in the small alcove which sits in front of the gearstick as mine has one in there too (it's fairly faint though, so you only really notice it if you put your hand it to see it glowing on your skin).

To be more specific, mine had connectors for the strip and the alcove but the leds weren't fitted, I got them from a scrappers & connected it up myself, but I couldn't find a connection for the cup-holder ones.
