Mk7 wing mirror not flush with door

Hi all,

Brand new here. Picked up my latest Fiesta Zetec S from a private seller, after getting home I noticed that the left hand wing mirror is not flush with the body (see below). I've taken it off and nothing really seems to be out of the ordinary (as far as I can tell anyway) 

Any help would be appreciated.

    It's been knocked at some point.  the part where the mirror bolts to has bent. You need to remove mirror, and with a bit of wood tap the bit the mirror stud goes though until the mirror fits flush again . Hard to explain but should get the idea what you need to do.
