Fiesta MK8 ST-line transmission/clutch issues?

Featured Replies

Hello

I have a 2018 Fiesta MK8 ST-line 140hp with 37000 km on It.

It started making a 1-2sec buzzing noice sometimes when driving in reverse on parking lots. It seem to come up exactly at the spot when the clutch pedal is released. Sometimes now it even comes up when releasing in 1th gear, driving forward.

Then a month ago, it started making a whining sound when driving in 1th and 2th. The whining sound follows the revolutions, and it is loudest at 2500 rpm.

I have been at the Ford dealership 3 times now. Still waiting for answers.

Did anyone experience something similar? Or maybe have an idea of what it could be?

Sorry for my english grammar, i tried my best 🙂

No problems noted with mine after 14 months, but only done the equivalent of 10,000 km so far.

I have the exact same issue happen every now and then. It doesn’t happen enough for me to be able to take it to my dealer and show them so I will likely bring it up when I take it for a service in a few months time but for now, absolutely no idea. I’m not really worried though, it doesn’t happen very often and the car is still under warranty so not really a stressful situation at the moment.

I have a 67 plate titanium, not the same car I know , but my gearchange is clunky and horrible, dealer is not interested,,
