Washer Pump Issue Mk7

Featured Replies

Afternoon folks, my washer pump has recently stopped working (no noise at all) and I'm wondering how I would go about testing the pump itself to see if it has any voltage going to it - I drive a Mk7.

Seemingly at the same time my Daytime Running Lights have stopped working, and I'm not sure if it's related - but I can't find them anywhere on the fuse list? My side beams main beams work absolutely fine

Have you checked the fuse for the washer pump?  F7 inside I think.

Sorry forgot to say, I have tried replacing the fuse for the washer pump but there is no activity or sound after doing so

Ok, next step would be to access the washer pump (behind arch liner), unplug it and check for voltage at the plug with a multimeter.
