anyone else had the metal bar thats bonded to the inside of the drivers the door come away? mines rattling like hell. had it fixed once and came away again.

    Was the car in a crash or something? I’m assuming this is welded rather than screwed together, in which case if it has come apart, i’d have thought there was a substantial hit on that side, corrosion aside, cannot see any other reason it’d come apart

    theres no record of it being in a crash? its welded either side of door but bonded with glue like stuff all along the door

    i didn't even know that existed haha. how would i know if it had been re skinned?

    Have a good look at edges of were the outer panel comes around to the inside of the door lf the edges do not seem to be perfectly flat then the outer door panel has been replace, reskinned, also rub your fingers along the seam and if it feels bumpy that's a further clue.
