Air blower stuck on windscreen

Hi all

First post on here. I recently noticed that the climate control of my 2013 Fiesta was stuck blowing on the windscreen not matter what I turned the dial to (face, feet etc. ) I have removed the glovebox to look at the direction rod and noticed it had come loose from the lower holding bracket (sorry not sure what it’s actually called). As I turn the dial the rod goes up and down but it stays set to windscreen. I can connect the rod back in but there is no clip to hold it in place so after a few turns of the direction dial it comes loose again. How can I fix this and does anyone know what the part is called?
