What's everyone got for the weekend? 
Off too the Anglesey race circuit 2moro too watch the cup series racing this weekend should be a great race just hope the weather holds out tho.

Saw this MG TF at a local meet last week and guess what? 

Yup its racing in the sports coupes category. Today the driver qualified  so its on its way too race from what I've been told so will keeping tabs on this baby 😉 during the weekend.

I'm ford/MG fanatic as I've owned a few of them now 😉 

Nothing car related but going to bring the family around and make jacket potato 🥔 for everyone 😎. 

I'm spending the day on the settee, I'm knackered!!! 😴

Or more likely just post useless rubbish online...   I had planned to go to a VW show tomorrow but it's a bit too far, a bit too expensive and the field is probably waterlogged by now.  

As it's persisting it down, i'll probably be horizontal watching the cricket, oh wait..

Same as always. Sleeping til late in the afternoon and then either watching Netflix/Amazon or playing GTA online (depending on which friends are online to play). 
This week it's a take on the Italian Job. A classic mini vs 1-3 US cop cars where the cops have to stop the mini getting 15 checkpoints.

Yes, was a pretty good event, apart from the bar arrangements! The queue was horrendous! So horrendous we didn't bother with drinks 😮 bumped into a pal this morning who spent over an hour in the queue.

 

Razorlight were good and Noel was excellent 😎

 

Never seen Inverness so busy. Back down again in August for Madness.

Cut the grass earlier as it was way overdue and another week of rain forecast here so thought I'd better get it done.

Had a couple of hours chilling on the settee now I'm off to the gym to pump iron, well, rubber coated metal of some description anyway!

Working overtime to cover officers rendering aid to the Met while Trump is over.
Dogs are bored though, only had to deal with an alcoholic self-harmer so far today and they weren't needed.
On until 4am though so it may liven up a bit later on.

Okay, I'll add some car related content 

1) Refitted the Stack instruments to my Lotus Elise

2) Changed the fuel filter on our Honda CRV

3) Booked a hotel for my track day at Brands Hatch later this month

4) Spent far too much time on the Caterham Cars configurator and specced up a Seven

None of that's technically Ford related of course. The ST sat on the drive all weekend, but the Caterham does at least have a Ford engine...

Highlight of my weekend here...defrosting the freezer...one job I absolutely hate doing! 😮

Took an hour and a half to remove about 2.5 litres worth of ice.  At least the drawers open and close now...

I also don't like tomorrows job of having to do a big shop to refill it! 😒

There isn't a local Iceland unfortunately, everything would be defrosted time I get home!   It'll be a Sainsburys shop this week, about £20 on frozen, £10 on fresh and £10 on toiletries & cleaning...I've worked it out to exactly £40 so I can use a £6 off of £40 voucher!   I was a bit worried about doing such a large freezer shop at this time of year but it's only 10c out today so should be fine after all! 😁

Few crashes witnessed but drivers are okay cars how ever is a different story but will see how the pit crew get on fixing them tonight ready for race day. 
So far Ford is in the lead with the most points Get in there 😉
See how the Honda championships go next. 
Great day all a bit pants on the weather wise but sure did make it entertaining too watch.

Other great day of motorsport weather was far much better and the cars were pushed even more too the max. 
Great display of cars and driving skills, few close calls and some smashes looking at the damage doesn't seem too be too fatal. 
Compare too yesterday's run. 
The weather certainly made the day even more fun. 
Highlight of the races has too be the Ford Escort and the Fiestas in action Good close battle between the Escort and the fiesta both fighting non stop for the top spot. 😉

Also the Honda Civic Type R championships. 
I'm not a big Honda lover but they do appreciate the track performance that they bring. 
They sounded beeping  good as well can't believe I just said that but there you go I did from a Ford Nut . 😉
Brilliant racing loved it. 

Keep it up we want more races like this.

Potting up some plants we bought during the week 🌻 cleaning the oven 😠 kegging some homebrew 🍻

....and only waking up at 8.15, realising we hadn't heard our 18 year old son get up for work at 8.30! He managed to have a shower and get to work on time! Makes a change from his 20 minute showers! 🙄
