Ford fiesta ST3 stereo

Featured Replies

Hey guys and girls...

I was wanting to make my mk7 tdci zetec S fiesta a more pleasant place to be.... And I was thinking of swapping over the stereo for a used Sony unit from a fiesta ST3.  I was wondering if anyone had.done that before, or if it would even work...

I'd appreciate some advice before making a purchase

Thanks

The stereo on the facelift fiesta interacts a lot more with the ECU, and there's also SYNC instead of a traditional bluetooth module. However I think you're also confused on the fact the Sony stereo is fitted to more trim levels than just the ST's.
Basically, you can fit a Sony stereo, but it has to be one from a pre-facelift fiesta. The plugs should be the same.
