TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2016 ford fiesta ecoboost (uk) and my wife has kerbed th alloy wheel. I have got a good one from the breakers and swaped it over. now the TPMS light comes on.

the breaker advised that this wheel has come off another fiesta 2016 (not sure which model) and should still have the TPMS valve still in it.

Does anyone know if this valve can be used or programed for my fiesta or do I have to get the valve renewed and programed to my car.

if I can reset it to my car, which tool would I use. I have tried to search for one but none states my cay for 2016.

Thanks

If the valve sensor isn't damaged, the sensor should work without programming , that's assuming the wheel was off a 2016 car. Easy way to check is to look at the rubber valve for a ridge. That will indicate a sensor valve.

If you haven't drivent far in it, take for a 5- 10 mile drive. Stop . Reset the tyre pressure monitoring in the radio screen display under menu, vehicle settings. Then see if it's ok
