Engine warning light issue

Featured Replies

I have 08 smax cdti titanium I have a problem where my engine warning light comes on but the drives normally it has been to the garage a few times and each time they manage to clear it but as soon as I drive it the engine warning light comes back on and so the cycle repeats the last code I know of was p2002 which indicates dpf this has been checked and no issue found it has been regenned as well there is no limp mode and no flashing it's driving both me and the garage crazy has anyone else had a similar issue. I need to do a long run soon and I'm not sure if I should drive it as far as I need to with that ewl (eml) on it.

Not sure on the code, but could be your fuel vapouriser which is part of the dpf system. Not sure if it's fitted to the 2008 model but its it's something to maybe look into
