2016 ford smax buying advice

Featured Replies

Hi, new to the forum and ford cars ( first time I won't have bought a VAG car!). Going to look at a 2016 2.0 tdci 180bhp Smax with the powershift gearbox and 37k miles . Is there anything in particular to look out for on these...common faults etc? How reliable are the powershift gearboxes ? Am I right in saying the gearbox needs serviced every 36k miles/ 3years? Has a good spec with full leather, led adaptive headlights, Sony audio, front and rear cameras , family pack and heated steering wheel. Only concern I have is the first service was done at 25k miles/2.5 years as opposed to the recommend 18k miles /2 years . Should I walk away because of this ?
