Drivers Window & Hazards

Featured Replies

hi all

car in question is a 54 plate galaxy TDi

i lowered the window fully and when i came to bring it up it wouldnt, the motor makes a slight wiring noise but the hazards activate for a few flashes.

any ideas on what it is?

Sounds like the global closings out of sync

put the key in the drivers door lock

lock it with the key turning it right

release and turn to lock it again and this time hold it in position

all the windows should go up

then do the same on the unlocking

all the windows will come down and then do locking again

then should all work ok

if its the global closing

if that doesn't work then its the window regulator

cheers :)

i did try turning the key to the position last night, so it must be the regulator :)

It is simple there is something got stucked in the motor or window path. Open the door and clean it.
