just asking if anyone can help

just bought s max 2.2 tdci all ok for a couple of days

then just today when ticking over very rattly on pulley side of engine

but when i rev up engine past idle it stopps and goes smooth

any help appreciated

someone said crank pulley?

when i picked up car dealer said he had belt and pulley,s renrewed

love the car just want sorted
