Well it seems like its taken forever (all of 2 weeks) but my old Escort van as gone to the government scrappage yard in the sky & I have got my-self a brand new 10 reg Zetec S in Sea Grey as seems to be the best colour reading through old comments on this site.

The lads and lasses on here have helped with comments etc this is a superb site so thanks for all the info I have learned so far, long may it continue.

Took about 2 hrs in the dealership to sort it all out as the car was still being cleaned up for me.

When I got the car it was not as clean as you expect still loads of dust/grime on the plastic parts of the front grill, I am not into the lining stuff they use behind the rear wheel arches and no full size spare as told I was getting just a can of fill.

Service book and owners handbook look and feel like recycled bog roll presentation wallet not much better.due to me waiting the sales man told me they had given it a free "pure guard" inside and outside.(inside still bone dry?) give me a bottle of stage 2 pure guard to apply over the weekend Me thinks a good wash and polish is what it will get.

Traffic from Town to my house was grid locked being Friday evening however I know were the back roads are so off the beaten track I went and booted it

If you are not sure if you have the best colour it is because you have NOT got sea grey I can see me polishing this car more than my Ducati or RSV.

Thats because the people who bought all the other coloured Zetes S cars are getting rid on auto trader so they can get a sea Grey one.
