S-max stereo aux help

Featured Replies

Hello I wondered if anyone could offer any help pleases. I've just purchased a 2010 s-max and having a little trouble with the stereo. I located the aux in the glove box and when I go to aux i simply get a no signal message on the screen. Is there a certain compatible cable? Are there any other options for connecting a phone for music (other than bluetooth as its a different phone the music is on to one connected for calls).

I have found a usb cable in the glove box and a micro USB slot on the stereo. I've attached pictures of my unit.

Thank you.

That's a (probably Chinese) aftermarket unit. The socket in the glovebox looks like the stock one, which is not necessarily connected to your stereo.

Anyone ever found the cure to this problem?
