Hi there,

Here's a post I did on how I removed my foglight surrounds

http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8988&view=findpost&p=53597&hl=&fromsearch=1

If the link doesn't work just type 'guide surrounds' into the google site search and you should find it. ;)

On removing the 2 front grilles, we personally removed the front bumper to free off the clips from the back. I'm sure some others on here have probably just pulled them off with brute force but we weren't too keen on that as the grilles seemed to have quite a hold and there's no guarantee that some clips might not break. :(

If you did remove the front bumper then the foglight surrounds could also be removed from behind quite easily instead of using the guide.

Just a bit of hassle but well worth it in the end looks wise. ;)

Stephen.

To remove the rear diffuser, much the same as the front. We removed the rear bumper and released the clips from behind. Again I'm sure others will have just pulled it off. There are 2 rivets which have to be drilled out which attach the rear lower skirts to the diffuser on the Zetec S / Titanium's with the dress up kit on etc. ;)

I was lucky in that my sprayer took the bumpers off, easy for him as he's used to removing bumpers etc daily. I probably wouldn't try it myself unless I knew exactly where to locate the screws, clips etc. It's not that hard it's just having the confidence to try it.

As I say I'm sure others have just pulled their grilles etc off.

As for the rivets I suppose just getting someone with a rivet gun could pop a couple of new rivets in place no bother.
