Well I have had a ford for about 3 years (but not one to be massively proud of - an old Escort!). A few days ago I picked up my new motor, a 51 plate Ford Focus Estate 1.6 Zetec which has only done 83k. I absolutely love it!

I had done a fair bit of research and it seemed the best car for my family while keeping insurance, tax etc down. Priced up at the dealers for £1995 I walked away with it for £1650. Needed a new resistor to sort out the heater (£15), a set of new tyres and some tracking (£180) and some tax £80 and it is good to go! The front exhaust is blowing a bit but its ok and the front badge could do with replacing (how fussy am I!)oh and I replaced the tape player(?!?!?) with my sony stereo so spent £15 on a new stereo fascia too. I think I will give it a quick service (oil, filter etc or rather my father in law will!) So all told £1940 plus the service bits and pieces. I think a bargain!

Phew! Anyway, I am based in Lancashire, a husband, a father of 2 boys, I like photography and driving!
