Well, 'hi' .... I've just flogged my immaculate but ancient Ford Maverick (sob, sob... ) and bought an '00 Mark 1 Focus ..... partly because at 27 mpg the Mav was getting a bit costly to run .... The Focus is 84k with full main dealer service history - to be on the safe side I've just had the cambelt and water pump replaced so I'm hoping for a few trouble free miles ..... Focus drives nicely but was never on the list of 'what to buy next' - I was heading for a Peugeot 206 - but the Focus seemed the better vehicle .... it's the 1.8 version and seems very quiet compared to a friends 1.6 anyroadup I'm hoping for good fuel consumption and a pleasant driving experience .... and some interesting topics in this owners club :-) .
