How to release steering lock that’s stuck

    Going to need a bit more info please...What year is the car? does it use a key in an ignition barrel to start it or is it keyless (so would have a Start button)? 

    Not entirely sure but if you use a key then there might be too much pressure on the lock for it to disengage, so you may need to wiggle the steering wheel. 

    If it's keyless then pressing the clutch down electronically disengages the steering lock, obviously you need the key fob with you and that the battery is ok inside.
