Tie rod lock nut

Hi everyone 

i need some advice . I took my track rod end off to change my boot on the steering arm but the lock nut that sits next to the track rod was seized solid the only way i could get it off was cut  it . Now im looking for a replacement nut and would like to know what type or size i need .

    I would buy a new rod off eBay and uses that bolt that comes with it there cheap on ebay😊

    Hi If you want one this week, then either a breakers yard, or get the part number of the nut from www.catcar.info and get the proper Ford nut from your local Ford main dealer. You'll need the finis code which is a 7-digit number for the parts  man to recognise it.

    Just done a quick search on eBay, £2 for 1, but the genuine Ford nuts come as a pack of 5 for £14.99 😵

    Im not surprised lol. Has anyone had experience of taking the tie Rod off. The videos i have saw look like nothing on my car.
