I mentioned in another thread about finding a receipt for a brand new Vauxhall VX4/90 in my late grandads things after he passed and just wondered if you've got any others?  House sales as well...I know my Nan still has the £4000 receipt from her new build bungalow in 1967! :biggrin:   

The forum compresses embedded pictures so you'll need to click it to read it...I've only got the pic I took In 2013 but I'll scan it when I find it (think it must be in Mum's loft as it's not here!).

The spelling & grammar buffs will notice plenty of mistakes...shame typewriters didn't have autocorrect!  Though I do wonder if they saw the mistakes but couldn't be bothered to type out another receipt...  :laugh:
