Sync 3 clock

Featured Replies

Hi all, when I put ignition on the clock reads correct time however it stays on that time until I turn ignition off at end of journey, then it will change to correct time! Tried master reset and hard reset.Fiesta 2018 model and sync 3 system.thanks

You say the time is correct when you turn the ignition on....Yet you say the time is correct when you turn the ignition off.

My question is.... Is the time actually wrong at all?

If there is a difference between the two after all, the time on the clock setting may differ to the GPS time, if you have that turned on.

It's a mystery!

If I turn ignition on and time is eg 5.04, it will stay on 5.04 until I switch car off at end of journey, only been happening last 3 days.

Maybe you are driving so fast you are warping time 😄

Sorry can't help, not sure why it would do that.

I like that idea!😀

Unfortunately got no helpful ideas either I'm afraid, but did wonder about the GPS setting. Would have suggested reset but you've already done that.

The clock is obviously working in the background from what you say, just not advancing the time displayed on the screen, until you switch off again. Many of us have had all sorts of weird issues with Sync 3, some of which seem to resolve themselves on their own (e.g. I had complete screen blackout last week, now it's back to normal) so fingers crossed it might be one of those issues.

Will be most interested in what happens.

Yep, first few weeks my Sat Nav would lock up and I would have to do a soft reset to get it working again. Not had that for a few months now 🤞

Don't think it's been updated as I never got it to connect to my wi fi. just seemed to sort itself out.

Hi was this ever resolved . Mine doing the same thing !

Switch the clock to 24hr mode then you won't see the same time twice 😉
