2929 Explorer - front license plate holder

Featured Replies

Just bought a 2020 Explorer Limited.

I asked the Ga. dealer about the front license plate holder and could I get one as there was none on the vehicle.

He said he looked into it and there were none for this car.

This makes no sense at all as Ford would not make a car with no plate holder as front plates are required in 31 states and in DC.

I have had Explorers and Escapes since 2000 and all, including the one I used as a trade in, have front license plate holders.

I have a nice Inagural Vanity plate I want to put up front.  Just FYI using the one from my 2016 Explorer Limited would not work as this year's model is on a different platform.

Anyone else have this issue?

I did ask Ford and they opened a case so maybe someday I will hear from them.
