From what I've read. We appear to be in a transition period currently. Does this mean nothing has changed for my planned ring trip?

    Nothings changed lol. Literally all that happened the other night is we no longer officially belong in the EU. If it wasn't for the news making it such a big deal you wouldn't have even noticed we left. We still follow all their rules and have the same trade agreement as before including free movement of people. The actual new rules and trade agreement etc. is to be negotiated for next year. Or so that's what they say, I'll believe it when I see it.

    Other than the fact the UK no longer takes part in any EU institutions we basically carry on as if we were a member until 31st Dec. So you can carry on like Brexit never happened until then.

    Stopped in the street yesterday talking to a chap admiring his rather tasty Suzuki motorbike when I noticed that his registration plate started with the letters EU, I asked him if he was going to re-register it, he said he'd not particularly noticed it in that way but food for thought perhaps. 🤔
